In 2004 God began to call Adullam Christian Fellowship to prayer like never before in the history of this ministry. It started when Michael Kimuli, representing World Trumpet Mission located in Kampala, Uganda on the continent of Africa, visited our area for a series of meetings in various churches. As a result, a prayer conference took place in our city last November. In the months leading up to the prayer conference, several churches in the New Orleans area met together to pray.
God has shown me personally the vital importance of unity in the Body of Christ, particularly amongst the pastors. If we cannot come together as one, God cannot move throughout a certain region. The prayer conference has come and gone, and I am happy to say that these prayer meetings are continuing. Many new relationships have been formed. Congregations are meeting monthly to pray. And another prayer conference is being planned.

We have learned not to pray for specific problems, but to pray for God’s purpose to be fulfilled in our individual lives, our families, our congregations, our parish, our city, our state, and our nation. If we will pray for His purpose, He will change lives. When lives are changed, revival takes place. We are committed to praying for revival and are determined to see God move in this city. We believe that, as God pours out His Spirit on the New Orleans area, the fire of the Holy Spirit will begin to spread throughout our city, state, and then the whole nation.
It is not a coincidence that our President has been reelected. God has given us a window of opportunity, four more years, to pray for revival in this land. The Church must rise up and seize the day while it is at hand or we will lose our opportunity to turn this nation around through prayer. We stand at a crossroad, a very crucial time, for the United States of America. Our society is spinning out of control. Right is called wrong, and wrong is declared right. The Church has slipped into a slumber. Our politicians are trying to pass laws that are contrary to the Word of God. It almost seems irreversible. But God says in II Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
You can be a part of this move of God to pray. For more information regarding any scheduled prayer meetings, please visit our calendar of events page. If you have any other questions or would like any information regarding these prayer meetings, or if you would like to get your church involved in hosting a prayer meeting, please contact the church at (504) 271.2002.
God bless you as we pray together to bring in the Last Days harvest.
