Hi, everyone:
I just wanted to update you on some of the things that have been happening
at Adullam.
Pat Robertson of the 700 Club and some of his top donors decided to have
their annual meeting at Adullam this year. What better place for them to
see where their donations have been going? Last Thursday, Pat Robertson
had a dinner at Adullam. Before the dinner, Pat addressed the people and
had Randy share his story about what happened before, during and after the
storm. Randy shared his vision for St. Bernard Parish, the New Orleans
area, and Adullam Christian Fellowship. After the dinner, there was a
concert by Don Moen. Then on Friday, Operation Blessing returned to
complete a project they had begun for Adullam Christian Fellowship. They
presented Randy and Jill with a 50's cafe, fellowship hall, commercial
kitchen, nursery, and offices.
Operation Blessing, a ministry under Pat Robertson, is responsible for
donating millions of dollars worth of food and supplies to the New Orleans
region since the storm. They are still in the area, working with Adullam,
giving out food and supplies. Since the storm, Operation Blessing has had
A mobile kitchen parked in Adullam's parking lot, where food is prepared
daily to feed hundreds of people of St. Bernard Parish.
Randy and Jill have envisioned a fellowship hall, commercial kitchen, and
A 50's Cafe since they moved into the building at 7451 W. St. Bernard Hwy.
Well, Operation Blessing totally remodeled the fellowship hall area and
donated 200 beautiful new chairs, tableclothes, and tables. They
furnished the kitchen with all brand new, stainless steel commercial
equipment which includes a convection oven (which has four ovens),
broiler, dishwasher, fryer, six-burner stove with an oven, grill,
refrigerator/freezer, hood with grease catchers over the equipment, two
steam tables, a three-tub sink, stainless steel walls surrounding the
appliances, and fire protective walls in the rest of the kitchen. They
tiled the hallways, cafe, commercial kitchen, and fellowship hall.
Offices for Pastor Randy and Jill, which were already constructed, were
carpeted and painted by Operation Blessing, and in between their offices
is a library, where Operation Blessing supplied bookshelves and filled
them with books. The nursery is absolutely gorgeous. And the 50's cafe
has three red and white booths and can seat 18 children or 12 adults
comfortably, three Coca-cola bistro tables, a bar, sink, juke box and many
other details to make it look like an original 50's cafe. I will be
sending pictures of everything soon.
Pastor Randy and Jill have many plans to minister to the chuch and
community with these facilities.
WATCH THE 700 CLUB TO SEE EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONATED AND ACCOMPLISHED AT ADULLAM. We're not sure of when the program will be aired, but if I find out a date, I will let you know. I would suggest tuning in every day to be sure you don't miss it.
In spite of the tragedy we have all been through and the trying times many
of us are still going through, God is blessing and He is in control. He
has a purpose and a plan for St. Bernard Parish!!!!

God Bless all of you! I met Pastor Randy through PRC when me and my family brought down a camper and motor-home to donate to your area, donated from people here in western Maryland full of donated items. Praise and give the glory to God for the ministry he put in my heart. After our first trip down, 1,290 miles, I did'nt know where God would lead us next. We met Pastor Randy at PRC's communication area in Baton Rouge. His testimony was so strong I will never forget.
God had planned me and my wife to go alone without my 2 daughter's for a 2'nd trip to LA. But this time God wanted me to go to the wal-Mart parking lot where Pastor Randy set up a relief center. We arrived late on Wednesday Nov. 9th 2005 with another mobile-home and camper full of donations from our area.
We are both fearful of water and bridges. But with the grace of God and help from the pastor we made it and as soon as we arrived the pastor prayed for us. I cannot say in words what we witnessed, the love and compassion from the people was without a doubt the true works of our Lord Jesus. The vissions I saw were there, the fire of God was there, I know you will all survive and rebuild in the name of God! I witnessed the slow movement of the agency's and can only pray God brings forth more campers thru me or other people willing to be a part of the almighty movement of our Lord.
We tried 2 times to get Pastor Randy's testimony on videotape for our community to see and hear, but both times satan took it from us. I am asking anyone who reads this please send me a videotape of pastor Randy's testimony. Email me for my address larry@campersfromchristians.org. I was able to get pastor Glenn's testimony on cassette and it has already changed peoples thinking here. We are so far away we do not hear about what's really going on there. I know your parish can use all the help you can get. I am trying to get the word out but it's hard with the way this world is to get the truth out to the public.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I ask for deliverance from all the sorrow and despair and a awakening of all churches to show the power of our God. Through missionary work there, thru involvement financially, thru the power of prayer I ask you dear Jesus protect your flock and let the word of God be forever in there heart's not just for now. I pray the city of New Orleans be a changed city, a city of hope thru the love of Jesus, a city of religious community's to center a new movement of the Holy Spirit, not the sinful ways of the past. Oh Holy God deliver the people of St. Bernard and areas near there, protect and guide them from evil, and let the Goverenment WAKE UP and give the power and help to the churches because they know how to organize the recovery of the community's, Praise Jesus, Hallelughia--Glory be to GOD, in the name of the Holy spirit and the Lord God, AMEN With God's forever Love,
God bless all,

Hey, Denise, we in St. Bernard are not the only ones affected by the hurricane. Even though you didn't lose your house like we all did in the parish, you have had to relocate. I know you and your family are homesick. So we pray for all of our church family outside of the parish who have been affected. And even those who didn't have to relocate were still affected. Our entire New Orleans area has changed, and no matter what, we are all affected in some way. I can't begin to tell you all of the miraculous things that have happened to me and my family. God is providing for us financially. Since our congregation has been dispersed, Tommy Tenney has been paying our salary. What a blessing, and what a wonderful sevant of the Lord. We thank God for Bro. Tenney's obedience.
We have been staying with my sister since right after the hurricane, but we are moving on November 25 to our own apartment here in Baton Rouge. I am so thankful to my sister for giving us a place to live these past months. All I can think of is the scripture that says if you give a prophet water in the name of a prophet, you will receive a prophet's reward. I know the Lord will greatly reward my sister for taking us in when we had nowhere else to live. And this goes for all of you who have taken in families during this difficult time.
Since we had over five feet of water in our house, I lost all of our family pictures, pictures I took over the years, etc. If any of you have pictures of any church activities, events, etc., or any of me, my family, my kids, etc., I would like to be able to make copies. This has been the hardest thing for me is that we lost so many pictures. I would greatly appreciate any help here. I'm looking forward to seeing whoever comes to the services on Sundays at the Wal Mart parking lot in Chalmette.
We miss everyone.

I know without doubt that God is in complete control of every situation that we face. The events of hurricane Katrina, though seemingly disasterous, are without exception. The Word says that all things work together for good to those who love God and who are the called according to His purpose. This is not just a saying, but it is a Word of absolute Truth.
Two years before Katrina my husband retired from 20 years on the police force saying, "I know that this is God's will." The Lord then began to speak to him in dreams telling him that a major hurricane was going to destroy the city. One year before the hurricane we found ourselves in a situation where I had to leave self employment and re-join the work force. One month before the hurricane I was placed on a disaster recovery team which forced me to evacuate the city and continue operations for my office from a remote location with each threat of a hurricane. One week before the hurricane I was given a promotion and raise. When Katrina hit, my employer relocated me and my family. They covered all expenses. After the disaster they continued to pay all living expenses and housing. My daughter was given a job and now my husband has also been given a job. When I had to return to work I didn't understand, but I trusted God anyway.
Now I see that two years before this disaster, God had started working things out for my benefit. If my husband had not quit his job as he felt the Spirit of God leading him to do, he would have had to remain behind in St. Bernard. If I had not returned to work, we would have remained home due to lack of finances, a place to stay, and to be near my husband. This quite possibly would have cost us our very lives. If I had still been self employed, we would have no income since our business was destroyed. If I had not gotten the promotion and sizable raise our finances would have been devistated with the loss of my business. If we had not relocated to Shreveport, my daughter would have continued to work for fast food establishments. Now, she has the chance to build a career and is gaining experience that is needed to obtain a good job.
I know that we are going to come out of this time of trial stronger than we went in to it. I trust God. While I still desire greatly to be in St. Bernard, I realize that I must walk in the will of God for my life. Right now, His will is for me to learn what I have to learn from Shreveport and to minister to each person that I am given the opportunity to minister to here. For those of you who are devistated at being relocated when you want to be home during this time of harvest, I would like to share a word of encouragement with you: 1 Corinthians 3:6 says that I (Paul) have planted; Apollos watereth; but God gave the increase.
We have been praying for revival and surely the feilds are white and ready to harvest. He is answering our prayer! So, why then are some of us disbursed throughout the country when it is time to harvest in St. Bernard? 1 Corinthians 12:12-21 speaks about the body being many members and that each member needs to serve its own function in order that the body operate correctly. (Read also Romans 12:4) God has given some of us the gifts of planting and made that our function. We have been in St. Bernard planting the Word of God into peoples lives. There is a seed time, and there is a harvest time. St. Bernard is now in a time of harvest. This means that the work of the sower is complete for a time (until the next planting season). He has also given some of us gifts of watering. We have been in St. Bernard watering the Word of God that has been sowed into the lives of the people by those who plant. We have taught, encouraged, prayed with, prayed for, and discipled them. However, the time of watering has ended for a while because it is now a time of harvest. The revival in the city of New Orleans and in St. Bernard parish has begun. There is a great harvest of souls that will be brought in during this time. God will bring in those who He has called as harvesters and strategically place them to do His will upon the earth.
Will there be another season of planting? Yes. Will there be another season of watering? Yes. Will we be be allowed to return to do the planting and watering? Some yes. Some no. But! There are other parts of this country that need to be planted. There are other fields that need to be plowed and sowed. There are other areas that need to be watered. God wants to bring a harvest to those areas also. Will those of us who are planters and waterers ever be allowed to harvest? I don't know. What I do know is that we cannot view the call of God as a tragedy because it is not what we expected. We must recognize which part of the body we are and serve that function in the field that God sends us to. We cannot mourn over not being in the harvest of St. Bernard or we may miss the harvest in the city where He has now placed us. We cannot mourn because we are a hand and not a foot!
God has made us all one body fitly joined together to accomplish his will upon the earth. If we were all harvesters, where would the harvest be? There would be none because there would be none to sow nor to water. For now, view this as an opportunity to see God move greatly upon the earth! Take heed to the words of Christ, " The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." (Luke 10:2)

Alright, all of you Adullam Family. I want to hear your story. I know that many of you have awesome stories! I know that our precious Jesus has done wonderful things for you and your family. One of the many things that the Lord did for me was the day after the hurricane, I really wanted to talk to my sister. We evacuated separately and she went to a place where there was no phone. I wanted to make sure they were okay since they were in an area where the winds were very strong. My only chance of speaking to her was by cell phone. I knew the towers were down and damaged. This was 2 days after the hurricane. Well, I prayed and asked the Lord if I could talk to her and He said yes. I began dialing the phone knowing that this can't be possible. But remember, with God, all things are possible! I got through. As soon as we heard each other's voices we began to cry and praise Him because only by His grace were we able to do this! My heart hurts for all of you and St. Bernard Parish. I pray for all of you daily. Some days the Lord puts specific people and families on my heart to pray for. Some of you I don't even know your names, yet I see you in my mind and pray for you also. The church I am attending, in Columbus, Georgia, has been praying for you every week since I got here.
Please know that you are covered in prayer and that He is the Restorer! I love and miss you all. I've discovered that no one can deliver God's Word like our precious pastor. I don't know the purpose of a message board, but I hope it's for communication. Please post specific prayer needs. That way we can all look and communicate with each other what the Lord is doing in our lives. We might be separated physically, but spiritually, we are a church. We can still pray for one another. Nothing can stop us from coming together spiritually until our wonderful Lord unites us once again! Someone, please respond!
