Adullam Christian Fellowship, a full-gospel, Bible-believing church, was established in 1995 under the pastoral leadership of Senior Pastor Randy Millet. In 2005, City of Hope was founded in an effort to meet the needs of the community of St. Bernard Parish and the Greater New Orleans area in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The church, City of Hope, and its outreaches are still involved in reaching out to the community. Many homes have been rebuilt, thousands of people have been fed, and volunteers from churches all over the country have been housed at City of Hope's Volunteer Center to help in the rebuilding process. Realizing the needs of the youth in an area that was totally devastated by Katrina, Pastor Randy acquired a community gym, soccer field, and skatepark. These facilities have allowed for soccer, football, and basketball leagues; a summer camp each year; and skateboarding, roller blading, and outdoor concerts at the skatepark.
